Scholarships Available for NCSSD's Foundations of School Security Leadership (FoSSL) Program

The National Council of School Safety Directors (NCSSD) is accepting applications for its Foundations of School Security Leadership (FoSSL) Scholarship Program, providing school safety professionals with complimentary access to professional training, peer networking, and NCSSD membership.

The scholarship helps remove financial barriers to professional development by fully covering the cost of the Foundations of School Security Leadership Certificate Course—a nine-part, self-paced online program developed by NCSSD experts to provide the essential knowledge and skills needed to lead school safety initiatives. Scholarship recipients also become part of the NCSSD community, where they can connect with peers, access practical resources, and participate in ongoing professional discussions.

What FoSSL Scholarship Recipients Receive

Through the FoSSL Scholarship Program, recipients gain access to training, professional networking, and NCSSD resources that support their growth as school safety leaders, including:

  • Complimentary first-year NCSSD membership
