The National Council of School Safety Directors (NCSSD) brings together more than 1,000 vetted school safety leaders through peer discussions, professional development, shared resources, and practical insights designed to support the people responsible for keeping schools safe.

NCSSD is also the organization behind School Security Leadership, its official publication covering the issues, policies, technologies, and practices shaping K-12 school safety and security. Together, NCSSD and School Security Leadership provide organizations with opportunities to support the profession while connecting with a highly focused audience of school safety decision-makers and practitioners.
